Argentina: this is a lodge and private reserve of 130ha with an ample trail network that allows many opportunities for birding and photography. The whole peninsula is tucked behind the River Iguazú in Brazil and the Brazilian Iguazú National Park, which borders Argentina to the west of the reserve in the Argentinian Iguazú National Park. Hence this reserve rovides a vital corridor for species moving between the two parks. Situated in a wooded region 2 hours’ drive from the Iguazú Falls and 25km from the nearest town. Along the river you can see islets with heron and other waterbird colonies and with a bit of luck you can see Giant Otter, Black Cayman and Capybara.
There are four independent rooms in a rustic style characteristic of the locality, using local materials. The restaurant offers a menu based on regional specialities. There is a deck over the river where you can watch wildlife and enjoy the scene.
