Girona, Catalonia: situated in Sant Pere Pescador, one of the main districts in the Aiguamolls de l’Emporda Natural Park. Market-based ingredients in season from the local area. The menu is a mix of original dishes and lifelong recipes: salads, tapas and traditional fare, meat, fish, pasta (especially recommended is “Pacheri”) and some well-known rice-based dishes. There is also a good wine list.
Don’t forget to try the bread with olives and tomato. They can also prepare bocadillos (baguettes) to go.
There is no menu as such, what’s on offer varies according to season. The quality/price ratio is good and so is the service, although you should bear in mind waiting times may be longer if the place is packed.
