Situated a few km from the entrance to the Khao Yai national park, this is a good alternative to staying inside the park. The park is the oldest in Thailand and features one of the best- conserved tropical forests in southeast Asia. It is home to the last tigers and Asian elephants in the country and holds an impressive variety of birds.
The cheapest romms are very good, with a shared bathroom (doubles for around 8.5 €/ 350 Baht in Oct 2014).
