It’s situated in the natural area of Aiguabarreig Segre-Noguera Pallaresa and at the bottom of the Sant Llorenç de Montgai Reservoir.
The best thing about this place is that it has a fantastic terrace facing the reservoir where you can watch a good range of water birds like the Purple Heron, Marsh Harrier, … or rock birds living in the surroundings like the Bonelli’s Eagle, Golden Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Eagle Owl, etc.
Very good quality/price value with large portions. The ‘bocadillos’ (sandwich) are another good option. They offer typical dishes from Lleida like the caracoles a la llauna (roasted snails). During the weekdays they offer a daily menu that can be arranged in advance if you are travelling in a group.
Advanced bookings at the weekend is recommended as it gets very busy.
They open at 9:00 am.
