Sierra de Gredos, central Spain: three rural lodgings in the Tietar valley in the southern face of the Gredos, near Candelada village. This is a great place from which to make trips into the Gredos, as well as the Tietar Pines with its population of Black Stork and the Holm Oak and Cork Oak woodland that cloaks the Gredos foothills. You can see Iberian Ibex on the steepest escarpments between gorges, as well as birds like Golden Eagle, Egyptian Vulture and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.
Casa Rural: this has a capacity of 2-5 pax. Hire of the whole house. In the countryside a short walk from the village. This is a renovated tobacco drying house, with the original structure in tact.
Hsr Lunaposada: Capacity of 2-10 pax. Hire per room or the whole house. In the old centre of the village a short walk from the countryside, Dates from 1890 when there was also a winery and a forge. The building has been renovated and converted into a tourist lodging using local stone, wood and forged iron. All the roofing structures and loft beams are wooden.
