Estonia: situated at the gates of the Vilsandi national park, a great logistical base for exploring the island of Saarema, known for its poulations of Steller´s Eider, Tundra Swan (ssp. bewickii) and other interesting species like Rough-legged Buzzard and Eurasian Pygmy Owl. This is also an important migration site for arctic waterfowl.
30 species of orchid can be observed in the area in spring and summer.
There are various types of accommodation. There are 7 double rooms that can be hired for 55-65€, depending on the season. There are 2 superior rooms and one single room. There is a hostel with bunk rooms for 5 and 6 people. The kitchen can be used for 10€ per group.
The restaurant is good quality with competitive prices, with pleasant service and delicious, beautifully prepared food in generous servings.
