Its priveleged location by the Sierra de Andujar Natural park makes this the perfect place to explore the mediterranean woodland habitats home to Spanish Imperial eagle, Eurasian Black Vulture, Iberian Azure-winged Magpie, Hawfinch and of course the world´s largest population of the endangered Iberian Lynx. The latter has been seen on various occasions in the grounds.
There are excellent views from the buildings surrounded by nature, and there is a swimming pool, parking and a hide for the observation and photography of forest birds. All in all, this is a wonderful place to stay in a wild setting. There is one house with six bedrooms and another with two, all fully-equipped with en suite bathrooms. Booking is by the room or by the house.
The food is excellent, meals are based around home-made dishes prepared with local ingredients. Picnics and packed lunches can be provided to birders on request as well as an early breakfast.
