Located in Jamnagar, in the Guf of Kutch (Gujarat state, NW India). It’s ideal for birding the Marine National Park and the Khijadia Bird Sanctuary with good species like Dalmatian and Spot-billed Pelicans, Indian Skimmer or Crab Plover among many others.
The hotel is located on a busy road but has two wings, one located next to the busy road and other one which is behind the main wing and which is shielded from noise. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the railway station by auto-rickshaw but is just 5 minutes walk to Lakhota lake which attracts lots of migratory birds in winter, like the different species of pelican, ducks, and gulls and not forgetting thousands of Rosy Starlings. The owner of the hotel, Mustak, is a birder, so the hotel attracts birders and pohotographers visiting Jamnagar. He offers first hand information about the birds of the area as well as details of how to visit the National Park.
The hotel offers non ac and ac rooms with a balcony at a very good tariff. All the rooms have cable TV, laundry service and running hot and cold water. The rooms are clean and comfortable despite being a little old fashioned.
The restaurant offers vegetarian and non vegetarian food and they adapt breakfast to birders’ activity. They even have a 24h room service.
