Situated at the entrance to the historic town of Trujillo in Extremadura- an ideal base for exploring the bird-rich surroundings within a 45-minute radius: Santa Marta de Magasaca and the Caceres and Sierra de uentes, and Trujillo plains, and of course the Monfrague National Park. Especially convenient for birding the Belen plains as it is right on the same road.
An understated but comfortable hotel, clean and affordable (33€ for a double room without the 2€ breakfast). The qaulty/ price ratio is excellent. Its better to reserve a room in the back part of the hotel, which being away from the road is quieter.
This is a great option for those who prefer not to have to enter the town of Trujillo itself, with its difficult parking.
