It’s situated at the entrance of Alange, right in the Special Protection Area of Sierras Centrales and Alange Reservoir. This bar and restaurant is located on the way up to the castle of Alange, in the Cerro de la Culebra. It’s an ideal place to have a refreshing drink after birding around the castle watching the black wheatears, Bonelli’s eagles and white-rumped swift.
Beni, the local owner, serves a wonderful beer in a frozen glass! The free tapas are good and the quantity is fantastic! If you like trying new things, taste the liver with onions that Beni makes. It’s delicious!
They offer a great quality/price value daily menu but you can also share portions like scrambled eggs with asparagus, scrambled eggs with cod and potatos (Portuguese dish), Iberian pork, etc.
