It’s located in the Sierra de Gredos, next to the source of the Alberche River, a good site for the scarce breeding Iberian population of Common Snipe.
Good restaurant with nice tapas. Highly recommended are the callos (traditional tripe stew), mashed potatoes (served with peppers, pork fritters, etc depending on the area of Spain), beans (Barco de Ávila style), grilled meats, etc.
There are several Rural Houses (B&B accommodation) available next to the restaurant.
There is a parking available opposite the establishment.
