The Lesser Kestrels which breed in the ZEPA Urban Reserve in the town of Trujillo are the focus for the First Mical Festival which takes place from the 5th to the 8th of June in the Extemaduran town. There will be all sorts of activities, from technical talks, children’s workshops aimed at raising conservation awareness, guided trips to see birds, photography contests and a sample of Landscaping Ornithological Art.
There will be three fixed areas in reference to bird observation, with optical equipment to aid observation.
Organised by the Trujillo Town Council with the support of the Extremaduran Regional Government, the Caceres Provincial Council, the Obra Pia de Pizarro Foundation, ADICOMT and DEMA.
